Wedding decorations in a church are usually not as lavish as the reception but there are several elements you will need to remember.  Decorating the aisle the bride walks down is the main area besides the alter area.

Decorating with tulle swags down the aisle is an easy and cheap way to add that “wedding” touch to a church aisle.  In addition a single flower or bow will fiinish off the swags nicely.  A swag of tulle fabric attached at the ceiling and draped down to the sides of the alter area are a beautiful touch; add some florals and your alter area will look wonderful.

If you take tulle yardage which is 27 inches wide when folded and drape it over your tables in a criss cross pattern all the way to floor on side and then tie a bow halfway up from the floor you have created an eye pleasing effect and using tulle is more cost effective than traditional table overlays.  Because the tulle lays flat on the top of the table it is perfect for adding other elements such as centerpieces, candles and table jewels.
